This gift will help significantly advance the organization's mission to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.
Today, Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland announced a $1,665 donation from the Boone County Community Trust. The donation will accelerate Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland’s initiative to provide life-changing experiences, mentorships, and programming.
“The Boone County Community Trust has made a significant impact by donating more than $3.6 million to over 250 local non-profit organizations for capital improvements and has become a longstanding part of the Boone County community,” said Beth Naylor, Boone County Community Trust Board Member. “The Trust is proud to support organizations like the Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland.”
The Donation Impact
The Boone County Community Trust’s gift to The Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland Council will enable the organization to support the restoration of the chimney at their Silver Meadows camp, a cherished Girl Scout camp in Boone County. This restoration will enhance the safety of the camp, preserve a vital part of our lodge, and ensure that our camp remains a welcoming and functional space for our members.
We deeply appreciate the continued support of Boone County Community Trust in providing safe and enriching experiences for Boone County Girl Scouts and their families. We’re excited to prove how their investment in girls will change the world—because when one girl succeeds, we all succeed.
At Girl Scouts, we believe in every girl’s potential to meet today’s problems with bold solutions and create a better, brighter tomorrow for her community and the world. Your investment supports girls’ abilities to make positive change, regardless of their backgrounds, locations, or financial situations.
