Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland has received $500.00 from the Douglas County Community Foundation
Through the Community Foundation of the Ozarks affiliate grantmaking program, Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland has received funding from the Douglas County Community Foundation.
Gifts like these continue to advance core parts of our program, like the Girl Scout Leadership Experience. It encourages girls to try new things, share their full selves, and give back to make the community a better place.
Thanks to these gifts, the Girl Scout Leadership Experience will advance in Douglas County. It will enable Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland to provide financial assistance for Girl Scout memberships, program experiences, volunteer trainings, and uniforms and books to girls and adults in the area.
Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland is tremendously thankful for the generosity of the Douglas Community Foundation, and is excited to see how these gifts will transform our future leaders in Girl Scouts.
