Today, Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland announced a $4,589 grant from Boone County Community Trust. The grant will accelerate Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland’s initiative to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.
Boone County Community Trust’s gift to Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland will enable Girl Scouts to expand its investment in girls and to reinvigorate outdoor programming at Silver Meadows Program Center. Specifically, this support allows Girl Scouts to reinvigorate the sports equipment and safety supplies for the target sports program and continue offering opportunities for girls to pursue high adventure experiences at Silver Meadows Program Center.
Due to this grant, Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland already has three target sports events planned at Silver Meadows Program Center this year on May 11, June 15, and July 13, 2024.
We appreciate Boone County Community Trust’s support to give girls the tools to become the next generation of powerful women leaders. Their organization has had a significant impact on Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland by financially supporting our outdoor programs to our membership through enhancing target sports equipment to offer more Girl Scout age levels the opportunity to participate. We’re excited to prove how Boone County Community Trust’s investment in girls will change the world—because when one girl succeeds, we all succeed.
