Introducing: Camp Connect!Current Girl Scouts, we have an exciting leadership opportunity for you! Become a Camp Connect Leader!
But first, what is Camp Connect? Camp Connect is a FREE, welcoming summer program where girls K-5 build confidence, make friends, try new activities, and discover what Girl Scouts is all about.
What do Camp Connect Leaders do? As a Camp Connect
Leader, you can welcome new girls into Girl Scouts by helping plan for
Camp Connect, leading girls throughout their activities, and inspiring
them to join a one-of-a-kind sisterhood.
This is an
amazing leadership opportunity for troops with Girl Scouts of EVERY
level, Juliettes, and even Individually Registered Girls (IRG)!
What's the time commitment?
Camp Connect Leaders have two things to do:
1) Attend a Camp Connect Helper Day (a two-hour planning
session) at The Fairbanks in Springfield, MO!
At these Helper Days, Girl Scouts will decorate, plan activities, and
create welcome materials for Camp Connect.
2) Lead and
inspire girls at Camp Connect (also at The Fairbanks!)
Below are the two Helper Day options:
- Monday, July 6 | 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- Girl Scouts that attend this Helper Day will volunteer on the July 7 and/or July 8 Camp Connect Program Days (9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.).
- Monday, July 27 | 2:00 p.m. - 4:00
p.m.
- Girl Scouts that attend this Helper Day will volunteer on the July 28 and/or July 29 Camp Connect Program Days (9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.).
