First Aid & CPR Certification (Blended Learning) 🚑
Be prepared to respond confidently in an emergency. Many Girl Scout activities require at least one adult volunteer to be First Aid/CPR certified, including activities outside of regular troop meetings, overnight trips 🏕, camping, and high-risk events.
This blended-learning course includes a self-paced online portion 💻 and a required in-person skills session 🧠. Taught by certified instructors, the course uses a nationally recognized American Red Cross curriculum covering first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies for adults, children, and infants 👶🧑👩🦱.
Participants who complete both portions of the course will receive a two-year, OSHA-compliant American Red Cross digital certification 📄. This course may also be used to renew an expired certification 🔄.
Requirements: Participants must have reliable
internet access 🌐, an email address 📧, the ability to complete the
online coursework, and availability to attend the in-person session
🗓. All online coursework must be completed before attending the
in-person training-no exceptions!
Adults that wish
to participate in the activity must register for the event.
