Join us at the Friendship Fields Girl Scout CampĀ for a hands-on, informative First Aid event designed just for Girl Scouts. Local first responders and community safety experts will be on hand to share their real-world knowledge and skills to help girls feel more confident and prepared in emergencies. Whether you're working toward a badge or just building life skills, this is a great opportunity to learn, ask questions, and connect with your community.
Ā
Girls will arrive Friday evening, check in, and set up their tents for a true outdoor camping experience. (Be sure to eat dinner beforehand!) Don't forget to bring your own tent and mess kit with all your personal dishware and utensils.
Ā
Saturday kicks off with something amazing: girls will meet real local heroes! Police officers, EMTs, firefighters, 911 dispatchers, and ambulance crews will run hands-on activity stations. Scouts can explore emergency vehicles, ask all their questions, and learn how first responders keep our communities safe.
Ā
In the afternoon, it's badge-earning time.
Grade-level workshops will help girls work toward their First
Aid badges. Daisies will earn their Safety Award Pins, and
everyone-from Brownies to Cadettes-will build their own First Aid
Kits. Scouts will complete activities tailored to their badge
requirements, then head out on a guided wilderness hike to practice
outdoor safety skills.
Plus, don't miss the Retail Pop-Up Shop with Girl Scout gear, badges, and camp essentials!
