Given the importance of mental wellbeing in our lives and the prevalence of mental health and substance abuse challenges in youth today, we are now offering a Youth Mental Health First Aid certification course. This blended-learning course includes a flexible, self-paced two-hour online module followed by an engaging five-hour virtual learning session with an instructor via Zoom. It is taught by certified instructors and uses a nationally recognized curriculum developed by the National Council for Behavioral Health and Mental Health First Aid. This course is designed to teach adults how to respond and assist youth aged 12-18. Participants who complete this course in full will receive a three-year certification through Mental Health First Aid. This course is a $170 value.

This course requires access to specific tech requirements such as email, consistent internet access, a working webcam/computer camera and microphone. Online learning assignments must be completed in full before attending the in-person session with no exceptions.
