Discover the healing power of horses in a weekend designed to promote mental well-being, confidence, and relaxation. Through equine-assisted activities, Girl Scouts will learn the basics of horse care, and grooming, while also exploring mindfulness, resilience, and emotional wellness in a supportive environment. With hands-on sessions in the arena and reflective time in nature, girls will build connections-with themselves, with others, and with the horses.
No prior riding experience is necessary-just a willingness to learn, grow, and embrace the calming presence of horses!
Sessions are scheduled from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM each day, and the program will be held in Cape Girardeau, MO. Participants must complete their registration by submitting an online medical form and waiver, which can be found in your confirmation letter.
