Emergencies require prompt action and quick judgment. For many activities, Girl Scouts recommends that at least one adult volunteer be first aid/CPR certified. For activities outside of a troop meeting, Girl Scouts requires that at least one adult volunteer be First Aid/CPR certified. First Aid/ CPR is also required for any overnight trips, camping, or high-risk activities. Meet that requirement through this blended-learning course that consists of a self-paced online course and an in-person session for skills practice. It is taught by certified instructors and uses a nationally recognized curriculum developed by the American Red Cross to equip students with the knowledge necessary to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children and infants.

Participants who complete this course in full will receive a two-year certification through the American Red Cross in the form of a digital certificate that is OSHA compliant and meets other workplace and regulatory requirements. This course is suitable to renew an expired certification. Due to an agreement with the American Red Cross, we are able to offer this course at a price of $45 for Girl Scout members. This training is a $117 value. This course requires access to specific technological requirements such as email, consistent Internet access, and the ability to complete an online course, as well as the ability to attend the in-person course on the date scheduled. Online learning assignments must be completed in full before attending the in-person session with no exceptions.

Trainings are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. To secure your spot, full payment of the total amount due is required prior to the registration deadline.
