Let's camp, Girl Scouts! Is your troop ready for outdoor adventures or to sleep under the stars? This training will help prepare you for all your troop's explorations.

You will learn how to help your Girl Scouts plan an overnight outdoor trip.
Â
You will have group discussions on topics such as:
- Outdoor Progression
- Girl ReadinessÂ
- Girl Planning
- Emergency Planning
You will gain knowledge in areas such as:
- Campsite selection
- Knot tying
- Fire building
- Knife safety
- Basic orienteering
- Leave No Trace knowledge
- Flag ceremonies
- Kaper Charts
You will learn several safe ways to cook in the outdoors such as:
- Dutch oven
- Sticks & embers
- Camp stove
- Buddy burner cooking
Dinner & Breakfast meals are provided. Dietary restriction information is required to be submitted before the training. This training will certify you in Outdoor Levels 2 & 3, allowing you to camp with your troop at GSMH properties and other camp grounds approved by GSMH.

that wish to participate in this training must register for the event.Â
This event has a minimum deposit. Deposits are
non-refundable and non-transferrable. Full payment is due prior to
the event registration deadline.
