Grab your daypack and let’s head out on the trail! Girls will learn the essentials of a daypack, how to be aware of your surroundings, why leaving no trace is so important, and what healthy snacks to bring on the trail. This program is geared towards those that want an introduction to hiking and backpacking. There will be a two-mile hike included in the program.
Participants will need to bring a sack lunch, water bottle, and dress for the weather—including closed-toed shoes.
