First Aid and CPR training is strongly recommended for at least one adult volunteer in every troop. The Safety Activity Checkpoints for certain Girl Scout activities require that an adult be certified in First Aid and CPR and act as primary first aid provider. New and experienced Troop Leaders, Assistant Leaders, and other registered adults are encouraged to attend this course. Successful completion results in a 2 year certification in Adult and Child First Aid and CPR. Digital certificate available upon successful completion.*
