Located just outside of Cape Girardeau, MO. Fox Run is a 75-acre equestrian community that features a 150x250 foot outdoor riding ring, plus a fully enclosed 80x160 foot indoor arena, which allows lessons to not be affected by the weather. Both Western and English disciplines are offered. Instructors are certified through the Certified Horsemanship Association and have 40 years combined experience showing, training, teaching, and riding horses.Girls will spend four hours each day at the barn and stay on-site in one of Fox Run’s homes. Girls will begin the week on Sunday meeting the horses and having a campfire. To finish out the week, families are invited to attend a horse riding exhibition and celebration on Friday! Girls will trot away with a sense of accomplishment, progress card of developed equestrian skills, and memories to last a lifetime! Lessons combine learning riding skills and horsemanship. Not all lessons are taught on horseback, as girls must first learn how to ride responsibly and other elements of horse care. Classroom and barn instruction are part of the equestrian program and teach the girls responsibility, discipline, coordination, and good sportsmanship with an emphasis on safety. Girls will learn how to correctly halter, groom, tack up, ride, and care for horses. What about all the traditional camp activities? No worries—when not at the stables, girls will be able to experience camp activities like swimming, cooking over a fire, singing camp songs, roasting s’mores, and more!

We are offering Go-Getter pricing again this year! The price you see listed is for Go-Getters who register prior to April 23. On April 23, on-time pricing goes into effect and all prices increase by $15. Go-Getters will also receive a camp t-shirt not available anywhere else!
