First Aid & CPR Training is strongly recommended for at least one adult volunteer in every troop. The safety activity checkpoints for certain Girl Scout activities require that an adult be certified in First Aid and CPR and act as primary first aid provider. New and experienced leaders, assistant leaders, and other registered adults are encouraged to attend this course!
This version of the course requires approximately 2 1/2 hours of online study in advance of the in-person skills check on the training date listed. Participants will be sent a link for the online portion of this course, and must bring their certificate of completion to the in-person skills check. Successful completion results in a 2-year certification in Adult and Child First Aid and CPR. Digital certificate available upon successful completion.
