Awards and Recognition
Do you know an adult volunteer who deserves recognition?
Showing love and appreciation for our volunteers is a long-standing Girl Scout tradition. After all, our volunteers are Ah-mazing! Our volunteers are all about the girls. We love them for it and, well, Girl Scouting wouldn’t be the same without them.
Our volunteers are changing the lives of girls in their communities every day. Some volunteers go above and beyond all expectations and have a definite impact on not only their troop, but their service unit and sometimes even the whole council.
GSUSA Volunteer Awards
Girl Scouts of the USA has designed the guidelines for these awards. Awardees are recognized each spring at the GSMH Volunteer Recognition Ceremony. Nominations are accepted at any time throughout the year, but must be postmarked by December 1 for the following spring’s ceremony.
