Calling all Girl Scouts—the planet needs your help! Join us this Earth Day to help save planet Earth and participate in Project Plant-It. Girl Scouts can change the world, one tree at a time. This new council-wide service project allows girls to not only get outdoors and give back to their community, but encourages girls to get involved in planet conservation. Every girl who contributes to Project Plant-It also earns a custom patch! Project Plant-It launches April 22 and runs through September 30, 2021.
All you have to do is plant a tree! While you can participate in this as an individual or as a troop, we recommend at least one tree for every five girls. After planting a tree, submit a photo to the Project Plant-It Report Form and your patch will be sent! Project Plant-It begins on Earth Day, April 22, and the deadline for submitting reports is September 30, 2021.
