Explore the Outdoors

Since the beginning of Girl Scouting, outdoor experiences have been fundamental to the Girl Scout movement. Juliette Gordon Low, the founder of Girl Scouts, took girls outside to hike, play basketball, and get active more than a century ago because she knew that experiencing the glory of nature instills something special in girls.

Armed with this information, we want girls to enjoy the magic of summer and create lasting memories. It is with great pride and excitement that we share that we have new and exciting summer opportunities for girls, troops, and families. So dive in — we look forward to seeing you in the great outdoors!
