Summer Camp

Girl Scout summer camp is a place for girls to explore, learn, and grow in the outdoors. Girls thrive in the great outdoors! If you've been here before, you may notice our summer camp options look a little different.

Girl Scout summer camp requires many, many resources to run safely. Due to severe staffing shortage, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our resident camp opportunities. Our top priority is always the safety of our girls. Without a full, qualified staff we are unable to provide the safe, fun, and enriching experiences as previously planned.

Although this summer won't look as previously planned, this does not mean that we'll be stuck inside! There are additional outdoor experiences available (featured below), and we have opened up our program centers for use by members for additional troop and family led summer outdoor experiences!

How to Register
  1. Check out the Activities Calendar and select the summer opportunity that's best for you.
  2. Complete the registration in Doubleknot.
  3. Get ready for your adventure!

Registrations will be accepted until an opportunity is full on a first-come, first-served basis. Girls must be registered Girl Scouts at the time of registration.

Not a Girl Scout? Not a problem? $25 gets her one full year of adventure. Join Girl Scouts here

Attend Another Girl Scout Camp

We are dedicated to helping girls attend other Girl Scout camp opportunities! For this summer, girls can use their Cookie Program Credit, Free Week of Camp, or Financial Aid to attend a Girl Scout camping opportunity at another council. The Regional Girl Scout Camp Availability document provides surrounding Girl Scout camp's phone numbers and information.

After registering your Girl Scout and saving her spot, please complete the 2022 Payment Request for Girl Scout Summer Camp . In order to complete this form, you will need a copy of your invoice due to the receiving council in the form of PDF, screenshot, etc. Also please note, deposits made with other councils to reserve your spot are not refundable.

Financial Aid

For this summer, Financial Assistance can be used for summer camp experiences at other Girl Scout councils. After registering your Girl Scout and saving her spot, please complete the 2022 Payment Request for Girl Scout Summer Camp. In order to complete this form, you will need a copy of your invoice due to the receiving council in the form of PDF, screenshot, etc. Also please note, deposits made with other councils to reserve your spot are not refundable.

If you have not already, you will also be asked to complete a 2022 Summer Camp Financial Aid Request

Requests must be submitted 5 business days prior to your desired camp session registration deadline. Financial Assistance does not cover the non-refundable deposit and will only be granted to girls actively participating or new to Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland.
