Get ready for an amazing day of celebration! Our 100th anniversary festivities will be held in Springfield, Missouri and will run from morning till night on March 31, starting with our first-ever Believe in Girls 5K Run/Walk and ending with special parties for girls and alumnae. 

All Girl Scouts, alumnae, family members, and community members are invited to attend our Believe in Girls Expo on March 31st at the Springfield Expo Center from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.  This jam-packed event will be full of booths with hands-on activities and information plus dynamic entertainment.  Check out our event highlights below!

Emily Hearn
Emily Hearn is a 21 year old singer/songwriter from Athens, GA and a proud Girl Scout alumna! GSMH national delegates and staff discovered Emily when she was a featured performer at the 2011 Girl Scout National Convention, where the more than 10,000 attendees raved about her performance. Emily's newest album "Red Balloon" was released on January 31, 2012.

100thThe fun continues into the night! Check out our 100th anniversary events for girls and alumnae!

Girl Scout Daisies, Brownies, and Juniors are invited to attend One Hundred, Fun Hundred!  This event takes place at the University Plaza Convention Center from 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm. Girls will eat pizza, play games, make a special 100th Anniversary craft, sing karaoke, and enjoy a few surprises! Cost is $10 per girl; $8 per adult.

Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors, and Ambassadors can party it up at the 100 Years of Dreams Dance Party! This event takes place at the Springfield Expo Center from 6:00 pm – 8:30 pm.  Girls will eat pizza, decorate their own cupcakes for dessert, have their pictures taken at our photo stop complete with props, and - of course - dance the night away with a live DJ! Cost is $12 per girl; $10 per adult.

Our Girl Scouts Forever Alumnae Gathering is for any adult age 18 or older who has been a part of our Girl Scout program. Share stories and memories of our 100-year old organization, which will include a sing-along and pinning ceremony. Event is from 5:30 pm -8:00 pm at the University Plaza Convention Center. There is no cost for this event, but please register by March 16. You may submit a 100th Anniversary Event Registration Form or register online.
