Flat Daisy
return to the 100th Anniversary page
where will she go? what will she do?
As part of the 100th Anniversary of Girl Scouting, Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland is asking girls to create a "Flat Daisy." Flat Daisies can be made by individual girls, troops, or other groups of Girl Scouts.
Print and color the Flat Daisy paper doll, and then Flat Daisy can go to meetings, to events, on trips and take part in service projects. Wherever Girl Scouts go, whatever they do, Flat Daisy can be there.
Girls can exchange Flat Daisies with other Girl Scouts so that their Flat Daisy can have even more chances to do neat things and go neat places. Wouldn't it be neat to see how far a particular Flat Daisy can go around our council?
Girls can then write about what Flat Daisy gets to do, and even take photographs showing Flat Daisy having fun. You can even share photos and stories of Flat Daisy online through the links below.
Before you send you Flat Daisy on a journey, be sure to include a troop number and an adult's name, return address, and email on back. Include a small notebook or journal with her to collect stories of where she has been. Girls can write in the journals or attach pictures of Daisy having great adventures. Wherever she goes and whatever she's done, each Flat Daisy needs to be returned to her home by Jan 1, 2013.
