Stories say so much about us-our likes, desires, dreams. The It's Your Story - Tell It! Leadership Journey series, made possible by a grant from the Dove Self-Esteem Fund, gives girls the opportunity to tell their stories through a range of creative approaches. Self-esteem is a natural by-product of this Journey series because through storytelling and creative expression girls gain a deep understanding of themselves and their potential, and develop confidence to become leaders in their own lives and in the world.. |

The possibilities are limitless. Whether you choose a Girl Scout destination or travel with your Girl Scout group/troop, or council-sponsored trip you will discover things about yourself you never knew! The Girl Scouts destinations program is continuously updating their new and existing program, allowing girls to explore horseback riding adventures, science and service projects at Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, canoeing the Colorado and Upper Missouri River, and time in Atlanta celebrating the 100th Anniversary. And for older girls, travel to Europe and locally give back with Habitat for Humanity. Note: These destinations are still open for late applications, due February 17, to council/event sponsors. Destinations that are not marked "FULL" on the destinations website in late January will be open for late applications past the February 17 deadline. For more information visit here.
