Celebrate Girl Scout History!
The rich history of Girl Scouting's first 100 years will be showcased in traditional and innovative ways council wide. We are working with museums, libraries and other venues across the council that are truly excited to provide the space to us to display our historical artifacts. The council offices have an inventory of historic uniforms, books, patches, recognitions, camping equipment, scrapbooks and other historic artifacts to utilize in putting together these displays. In addition, we will be working with venues and volunteers to create display signage for the exhibits.
This is a perfect opportunity for a troop near an exibit location to take on the planning and building of an exhibit as a project (in conjunction and with the assistance of the council and the exhibit's host)!
If your troop would be interested in adopting one of these exhibits, or you would like more information, please contact Joan Gibson at 877-312-4764 x1118 or jgibson@girlscoutmoheartland.org.
