Camp Winterizing
Some or parts of the Program Centers will be closing down by November 1st for the winter due to the inability to adequately keep the water lines from freezing.
Please contact the council office if you have any questions:
Cape Girardeau Area
- Sacajawea East – Harris Lodge will shut down November 10th, the stable facility will remain open for use.
- Cherokee Ridge – All of camp with the exception of Pathfinders Lodge (no running water and heat by fireplace only).
Dexter Area
- Latonka – All with the exception of the Troop House, Old House will be shut down December 21st.
Springfield Area
- Finbrooke – All with the exception of the Lodge and Troop House. The units will be open, but no bathroom facilities.
Joplin Area
- Mintahama – All with the exception of Bunk House.
- Friendship Fields – All with the exception of Red Bud Lodge.
- Suzanne – Closed
Jefferson City Area
- Silver Meadows – The Lodge will be open but the south shelter will be closed.
- Green Berry Acres – Closed.
- Sacajawea West – Open.
- Bachimtal – Closed.

Individual Guide Sections:
UPDATE:The "Registration Confirmation" of the Camp Registration Procedures (page 18 of the complete resident camp guide) has been corrected. Where it was previously stated that girls attending a session for less than 3 nights did not need to bring a Health History Form, has been updated. All campers must bring a Health History Form and a Girl Health Examination Record signed by a physician for any resident session.
