A Girl Scout troop is a great way to experience Girl Scouts with a group of friends or to make new friends! Girl Scout troops participate in a variety of fun activities while learning new skills. Girls in a troop can earn badges, go to amazing council and local events, complete up to three Girl Scout Journey’s, travel locally, regionally or nationally, and participate in service projects to make the world a better place.
If you have at least two friends and know of two adults who can volunteer, we can help you get a new troop started. If you aren’t able to get other girls or adults, it’s okay! We can try to place you in an existing troop in your area.
Being in a troop isn’t the only way to experience all the great things about Girl Scouts. GSMH offers five participation pathways for girls: Troop, Event, Series, Camp, and Travel.
